Brief: ProMission was appointed at the acquisition stage to carry out a building survey of the premises and organise a planning application to install a mezzanine floor. Following this, with detailed client consultation ProMission designed the manufacturing, storage and office layouts and oversaw the works being carried out.

Our role included:

• Detailed design work to  incorporate an efficient storage and manufacturing layout
• Preparing specification and obtaining competitive tenders
• Undertaking a detailed Value Engineering exercise to reduce costs
• Appointing the contractor and administering the works
• Negotiating the terms of a contract ‘pause’ of two months due to COVID-19
• Undertaking site inspections to monitor progress on site and building quality issues
• Valuing the works and issuing certificates
• Chairing weekly progress meetings
• Undertaking snagging inspections upon completion of the works
